Thirty days, no interrogation. Last updated 28 August 2026.
If LocalSoft is not right for you, write to us within 30 days of your purchase and we will refund it in full. You do not need a reason, and we will not try to talk you out of it.
Email billing@localsoft.app from the address you bought with, or use the contact form and choose Licences and billing. Include your licence key or order reference if you have it to hand.
We process refunds within two working days. The money goes back to the card or account you paid with — your bank usually takes another five to ten days to show it, which is out of our hands.
It is deactivated when the refund is issued, and the app returns to the free tier on your Macs. Your projects, databases and certificates are untouched: refunding does not delete anything from your machine.
The first 30 days of your first term are covered by the guarantee above. After that, you can cancel at any time to stop the next renewal, and the licence keeps working to the end of the period you have paid for.
If a renewal takes you by surprise — you meant to cancel and did not — tell us within 14 days of the charge and we will refund it. That is not in most companies' policies. It is in ours because charging someone for a year they did not want is not a way to run a business.
We may decline a refund where:
These exist for the rare bad actor. If you are reading this page because you want your money back, they almost certainly do not apply to you.
A refund is always available, but it is not always what you want. If LocalSoft is not working on your Mac, tell us what is happening first — most problems are fixed the same day, and we would rather have a working customer than a returned sale.
Purchases are made from MEGAHOST LLC, 36 South 18th Avenue, Brighton, CO 80601, United States. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see your card details.
Consumers in the EU and UK have a legal right to withdraw from a distance purchase within 14 days. This policy is more generous and does not replace that right or any other you have by law.
